FACILITIES

Muscle and Fitness Academy is here to help all our members feel positive, motivated and in the perfect mood for a workout. Our gym is a construction site for bodies that wants to tone, build muscle, lose fat etc. With our laid-back atmosphere you feel as comfortable as a pair of old trainers when you come in.

You’ll also find all the practical bits and bobs you need: showers and changing rooms, lockers, a wide range of weight lifting equipment and cardio equipment –  And to keep you safe and sound day and night, we’ve got a fingerprint entry door system for our members.

WEIGHT TRAINING

Weight training is a common type of strength training for developing the strength and size of skeletal muscles. It utilizes the force of gravity in the form of weighted bars, dumbbells or weight stacks in order to oppose the force generated by muscle through concentric or eccentric contraction.

​

You'll find all the equipment - free weights and machines - needed for your workout inside our construction site.

SPINNING STUDIO

Get the burn of a run-while sitting on your bum-with our 45-minute spinning class taught by the always popular Andre Breedt or our virtual spinning class. 

 

Spinning offers all the benefits of cycling without wind, rain or traffic. Spinning is an efficient way to experience one of the most effective full body exercises. When performing the cycling exercise, all muscles of the body are engaged to a high degree, primarily the leg muscles. The leg muscles are the largest muscles in the body and when stimulated through exercise, burn the most calories. This usually results in faster overall weight loss and a stronger, healthier body.

Additional benefits of spinning includes reduced stress, improved circulation, stronger muscles, enhanced mood and better digestion.

BOOTCAMP

Get burning fat and tone up with our mix of cardio and functional fitness. Bootcamp is a high intensity training and total body conditioning. Coached by our personal trainer Terence Byrne.

Bootcamp is a great way to stay motivated, with a combination of team exercises, partner drills and individual challenges in a fun, supportive and friendly group environment. All shapes, ages and fitness levels welcome.
